Job Description Position Description: The Loan Consulting Floor Supervisor is responsible for managing a team or teams of loan consultants in an inside sales environment. The Loan Consulting Floor Supervisor must be able to perform administrative and sales duties while managing a group of typically 10-20 individuals. . The Loan Consulting Floor Supervisor will manage their teams to exceed established targets for production volumes of loans, protection product sales and customer satisfaction. Additionally, Floor Supervisors will work with their teams to exceed company standards for adherence to compliance and quality assurance. Pre-Qualified loan lead opportunities are provided by the company so the main focus is to work with loan consultants to successfully convert leads into closed transactions by offering solutions that meet customer needs and by properly setting expectations to exceed expectations for timeliness of closing of loan transactions. Team Leads will work in partnership with other Team Leads to cover each other during various times (including meetings, PTO, and weekends) .
Duties and Responsibilities: The Loan Consulting Floor Supervisor is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. - Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction which establishes good working relationships with customers that will encourage repeat and referral business. Handle all customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Energetic and offers white glove service to every customer no matter their situation.
- Reviews personal and team actions on a daily, monthly and annual basis to determine how to better utilize their time and plans more effectively. A very high focus on effective management of individual and team workflow queues to ensure timely and proper follow-up protocols are maintained to achieve maximum results.
- Takes the initiative to exceed all standards, stay energetic no matter the situation.
- Must be able to take personal successes in sales and customer service and be able to translate that into training new and seasoned loan consultants to exceed individual goals.
- Must be able to work with associates and management within other areas of the company to solve problems and advocate on the customer's behalf.
- Assist in interviewing new loan consultants and effectively manage the HR expectations of the group (managing time and attendance as well as scheduling to account for PTO).
- Handle customer service complaints and escalations for their team members.
Qualifications: The education and experience requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required to perform the primary duties and responsibilities successfully.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred four years of college
- Two years successful sales management experience, preferred
- A thorough understanding of consumer finance including how automobile loans and leases work is highly desired.
- A working knowledge of consumer credit reports, rules and regulations is highly desired.
- Understanding of automotive protection products such as GAP and Vehicle Service Contracts is preferred.
