Description: About the Company Chrysalis Management Institute helps CEOs and their teams get aligned and accelerate business growth. We hold training workshops throughout the month in our 48-seat training facility in Al Quoz (near Oasis Mall).
About the Role - The Web Developer will be responsible for creating high-converting websites, mini-sites and landing pages to attract our target market and clients while adhering to our brand guidelines.
The type of tasks we need help with are:
- Take PSD's from our in-house designer, and cut and code them using HTML, CSS and place them onto our Wordpress-powered websites
- Embed tracking codes (Adwords, Facebook), embed videos and other third-party content (e.g. YouTube Videos/Audio Files) and embed opt-in forms
- Work with drag-and-drop editors like Live Editor and combine using the out-of-the-box functionality with coding additional functionality required
- Able to work with FTP files and code directly
- Other programming languages an advantage e.g. Java, C#, Python, PhP, C++ etc
- Conversion Optimization experience highly advantageous
- Optimizing all pages for all mobile devices
Key KPIs will be: Website Speed (we host on AWS), uptime, daily backups (we use DropMySite), security of all sites, page conversion rates and time on page, speed of work and quality (100% error free before submission)
Candidate Requirements: - Technical Competence - Able to provide sample sites ahead of interview for us to analyze and test. You should be able to quickly perform the tasks needed, this isn't a role where you can learn on the job. You need to have the fundamentals to succeed.
- Dress Smart - You don't need a suit (though this is welcomed!) but as we serve CEO's and senior business people you need to be smart and represent our company with a professional appearance.
- Good Communication - English fluency is absolutely essential. You must be able to take instructions verbally and quickly grasp what is required. We are collaborative and do live editing with the CEO and Marketing Director.
- Open to being involved in long discussions, meetings and masterminds - We are a collaborative team. You'll get “quiet time” to code, but you'll also be required to participate in meetings daily.
- Responsive - You must be responsive via Whatsapp. Long periods without responses and ignoring messages won't work for us.
- Smart - We need quick thinkers who contribute by getting what we are trying to achieve, and coming up with ideas, engaging in discussion and working as part of the team to help grow our company.
- Committed - We need someone committed to meeting deadlines and honoring their promises. Much of our work is time critical, so we need someone who will do whatever it takes to deliver instead of making excuses.
- Working Hours - We work Saturday to Thursday every week, you will be expected to work everyday except Fridays. We work from 9:00 until 18:30.

- There will be an interview with the Marketing Director and/or the CEO. At the interview you will be given a short test task so we can both get a flavor of working together.
