We provide full asset lifecycle services for both Greenfield and brownfield onshore facilities as well as the manufacture of skid-mounted compression and production equipment. Our expertise encompasses central processing facilities, gas compression and transmission, production equipment packages, pipelines, terminals and pump stations, enhanced oil recovery, utilities and off sites, and flare emission reduction.
Leading from the front we you will be engaging with projects to ensure that all Material Management procedures at standardized at SNC Lavalin, within our Oil and Gas business sector. With offices in over 50 countries this role will give a highly experienced Subcontract Manager the opportunity to work within our forward thinking Procurement Function. Working closely under our Regional Procurement Director you will be able to drive consistency and efficiency on how we process all materials on some of the biggest projects in the Middle East.
Working from our Regional Procurement hub in Abu Dhabi you will ensure Project Material Managers throughout the Middle East manage all aspects of materials flow and to maintain control and accuracy over all goods inventories, including all transactions, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost warehouse, receiving and shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.
Our ideal Materials Manager will have:
- Bachelors degree in Business or other related discipline required.
- Minimum 10 years materials management and sourcing experience, preferable in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of material requisitioning, expediting, logistics and site material management.
- General knowledge of piping, electrical, instrumentation, structural and civil materials.
- APICS certification a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills required.
- Proven analytical problem solving skills required.
