We provide full asset lifecycle services for both Greenfield and brownfield onshore facilities as well as the manufacture of skid-mounted compression and production equipment. Our expertise encompasses central processing facilities, gas compression and transmission, production equipment packages, pipelines, terminals and pump stations, enhanced oil recovery, utilities and off sites, and flare emission reduction.
Take a Lead role in developing and standardizing Subcontract procedures at SNC Lavalin, within our Oil and Gas business sector. With offices in over 50 countries this role will give a highly experienced Subcontract Manager the opportunity to work within our forward thinking Procurement Function. Working closely under our Regional Director you will be able to drive consistency and efficiency in your own individual function based out of our Abu Dhabi Office in the UAE.
Working from our Regional Procurement hub in Abu Dhabi you will develop, negotiate, issue and execute contracts for various project scopes under the Procurement designated guidelines, with the ability to analyze the financial impacts for services. Employ due diligence to comply with the terms, conditions, rights and obligations of the contract. Advise the company on legal matters regarding contracts by reviewing draft contracts and rendering advice to the relevant stakeholders to facilitate company in fulfilling contractual commitment successfully.
Our ideal Subcontracts Manager will have:
- Minimum 10+ Years working experience with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Educated to degree level
- Sound knowledge & understanding of contract law and commercial / contracts management.
- Negotiating skills.
- Ability to quickly assimilate and retain detail of contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp highly complex program concepts and analyses the associated contractual impact and risks.
- Ability to work with or without legal resources to draft contract clauses which capture the essential contractual issues of any situation.
- Analytical skills associated with developing and utilizing performance measures and cost savings.
- Experienced in Managing and Leading a multicultural group/Team.
- Conversant with operating in a Functionally structured organization.
- Ideally experienced in Oil & Gas sector.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence, mentorship skills, and relationship building skills
- Superior interpersonal, organizational, analytical, managerial and communication skills.
- Good negotiating skills to be able to work with customers (both internal and external) to meet project objectives
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to ensure all Project risks are mitigated and all opportunities exploited.
