The Law Enforcement Unit has an immediate opening for n Communication Center Supervisor. In this critical role you will lead the daily operations of the LEU Communications Center (CC) including staff scheduling, equipment accountability, tracking training requirements, record keeping, and additional quality assurance. This position is responsible for performance reviews, personnel management and motivating employees. The daily operations include handling escalated customer service matters, incident oversight for the Communication Center operations team, and ensuring the equipment, automated systems, and technology are operational. Responsible for the execution and adherence to the policies and procedures within LEU Operations Division with bank security and safety functions.

Essential Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):
· Thorough knowledge of communication center procedures and operations, computer systems and operations, emergency information and law enforcement communication terminology.
· Expertise in problem solving, creativity and innovation to determine problem areas and provide fresh approaches to solving routine LEU operational problems
· Advanced interpersonal, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills required to direct and lead staff
· Outstanding oral and written communication, ability to interact with all levels of Bank management, the Board of Governors and staff
· Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, and other software sufficient to perform supervisory and Communication Center tasks.
Qualifications Key Responsibilities: · Provides functional leadership to a team of 2- 4 employees running the daily operations of LEU Communication Center and monitoring the systems associated with ensuring the safety of the Bankersonnel and assets.
· Ensures the monitoring of the flow of personnel and vehicular traffic entering and exiting the Bank's property. Monitors and reports incidents internally and externally to ensure the safety and security of the Bank, employees and Law Enforcement Officers.
· Ensures that all team activities are performed in adherence with policies and procedures
· Provides oversight of the activities of those responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in adherence to accepted industry standards and regulations
· Monitors team budget and resources
· Responsible for ensuring quality and operating standards are met by Law Enforcement operations team
· Decisions are tactical, judgment is exercised within defined procedures and policies to determine proper action
· Interacts with all levels of leaders concerning functional Law Enforcement operations activities
Qualifications/Requirements · 5 to 7+ years of relevant functional work experience
· High school diploma required, college experience preferred
· Must pass a full field background investigation including criminal history records check
· Must meet requirements set forth by the Virginia State Police to obtain and maintain certification as a NCICVCIN administrator and operator
