Job Summary Planning
- Prepares a strategic Campus plan and annual plan.
- Participates in reviewing and approving the financial plans & budgets for The Campus.
- Leads in implementing the strategic plan, policy formulation, and decision-making affecting The Campus.
- Participates in the academic planning and degree offerings in The campus.
- Reviews course offerings on the The campus.
- Assists with developing marketing strategy to promote the educational programs offered in The Campus.
- Develops the campus enrolment management plan.
- Leads students recruitment activities and the efforts aimed at enhancing enrollment growth and retention.
Daily Operations
- Leads, manages, and oversees the day-to-day operation of The campus.
- Monitors the implementation of policies, plans, projects, and initiatives relevant to The Campus.
- Meets with students and parents as needed to listen to their issues and advise on the right action.
- Responds to students' complaints and suggestions.
- Leads community engagement.
- Interacts with external community such as high schools, private business, and governmental agencies.
Personnel Management
- Monitors the performance of faculty and staff in The campus to ensure high quality of education and services.
- Provides input in the performance evaluation of faculty and staff.
- Reviews and approves recruitment of faculty and staff for The campus.
- Contributes towards faculty and staff scholarship and/or development.
Required Skills The Campus Director represents the Chancellor in the campus and has the delegated authority of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for issues related to the Campus concerning applying the policies and providing guidance on hiring, performance evaluations and terminations. The purpose of this position is to lead and manage the daily operation of the Al Ain Campus.
