An excellent opportunity to work with the government entity of U.A.E., where the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in managing accurate investor perceptions of the Company's financial and operating performance.
Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Assists and participate in setting, developing and executing the Company's global investor relations (IR) strategy and ensure the IR department aligns with the Company's corporate strategy and values.
- Participates in developing and maintaining relationships and ongoing dialogue with key members of the financial community:
- Current and prospective bondholders and equity holders
- Current and prospective fixed income and equity analysts
- Financial media
- IR and financial service providers
- IR professionals at peer companies
- Manages and coordinates the Company's quarterly results reporting including releases, scripts, presentations and associated logistics including, results reporting, website preparation, conference call and web casting.
- Manages the Company's relations with its investors (shareholder base exceeds 100,000) through:
- Organizing the Annual General Meeting - AGM
- Investor meetings and ongoing communications
- Responsible for publishing the company's English and Arabic Annual Reports and associated investor's collateral materials.
- Responsible for updating the IR section of the web site and ensure its in line with regulatory requirements.
- Prepares and coordinates the company Arabic communications which includes, reviewing, editing and updating.
- Maintains an updated IR database of all financial community contacts.
- Maintains the company's relationship with the regulators (ADX and SCA) ensuring the company's compliance with all their requirements and requests.
- Communicates the Company's financial position, current operations and corporate strategy via press releases, quarterly results, annual reports, one on one meetings, telephone calls, the corporate website, conferences and roadshows
- Coordinates with the global PR department and other internal groups to ensure consistent messaging and branding. As one of the Company's official spokespersons, ensure appropriate messages are being distributed.
- Provides IR assistance, as required to the Company's business units.
- Provides support to the Treasury department during bond issuance and raising debt.
- Provides assistance, as may be required, in matters of corporate compliance.
- Provides support in relation to Corporate Governance according to the law including publishing annual corporate governance report
- Support the Corporate Communication team In Conferences and corporate events such as ADEPIC.
- Provide daily and monthly reports on the Company's share performance.
Qualification Required: - Bachelor’s degree is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Communications is preferred.
Experience Required: Essential - Minimum 6+ years’ experience in a similar or related role.
- Strong written and verbal skills in Arabic and English.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with financial language and comfort in a fast paced environment.
Preferred - Experience with IR products.
- Experience in managing IR Events.
- Fluency in Arabic (oral and written).
