About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen in Supply Chain & Logistic Department as a Supply Chain & Logistic Officer for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is to be responsible for implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives for Dubai operation and to support the Purchasing Manager Project CAM in administrative and statistical tasks.

• To execute strategic sourcing projects as defined by Jumeirah Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Develop and Manage RFx and e-Auction events to comply with purchasing plan.
• Preparation of statistical reports in timely manner.
• Liaising with all other departments within Strategic Business Units and Strategic Support Units for continuous feedback on CAM product selection and implementation.
• Continuously monitoring the CAM selection process and its compliance and integration with the business
• Liaising effectively with external customers to maintain healthy business relationships and get necessary support for SBU and SSU functions.
• Ensuring that SC&L policies and process are adhered to by all internal customers.
• Doing comprehensive analytical review and propose saving opportunities for the business.
• Tracking and recording the CAM savings and publishing the same on monthly basis.
• Should conduct market survey and share the market price trend with the business to ensure cost savings.

Other Duties

Perform any related procurement duties as requested by Purchasing Manager Project CAM, Assistant Director, Director, and Vice President of Supply, Chain & Logistics.

Attend required training session as requested by Purchasing Manager Project CAM, Assistant Director, Director, and Vice President of Supply, Chain & Logistics.

Adhere to Jumeriah’s Guiding Principles and Hallmarks and to promote them to colleagues on a constant basis, always leading by example. * Communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

About you:

In order to be considered for this role you must have a Diploma or Certificate in accounting and finance, and be able to communicate effectively in English. You need to have at least minimum 1 year in purchasing experience or 2 years in any other hotel operation function. You need to have Good Communication skills. You need to have good Working knowledge of MS Office . Graduate from university or college will preferable.
