POSITION SUMMARY: It is the primary responsibility of the Surveillance Supervisor to protect the integrity of all Table Games, Slots, Cage, Hard and Soft Count Rooms, Change Booths, Cashiers, and other related areas. All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Operates Surveillance equipment for extended periods of time to ensure accurate video documentation with regard to irregularities or deviations from normal activities in all areas of responsibility.
- Monitors assigned areas on a continuous basis to ensure complete coverage. Remains alert to any suspicious activity and communicate such to his/her direct report and/or other designated person.
- Detects any procedural errors, potential cheating, or suspicious activity that may be a threat to the company and enforce all policies and procedures.
- Supervises Operators to ensure video documentation is thorough and that the infractions observed are correctly interpreted.
- Reviews and signs all written reports prepared by the Operators.
- Notifies Pit Manager and/or Casino Shift Manager on all procedural violations as well as communicate with the appropriate designated department supervision when the situation requires information to be disseminated.
- Notifies direct report, State Gaming Control and corresponding department Manager or Supervisor of all criminal acts. In absence of his/her direct report will notify the President/COO of Property.
- Produces video replay or recording when requested by the Casino Shift Manager or a Department Head, provided that the requesting person is not the subject on the recording.
- Creates methods of training to educate staff on all games and slots with direction and approval of Surveillance Director.
- Relays information down to staff given from meetings with Surveillance Director.
- Composes and administers appropriate yearly evaluations and counseling notices to Operators.
- Performs daily Video checks, and Video playbacks, as well as assisting entire Surveillance staff with various other tasks.
- Reports any and all needed repairs of Surveillance equipment to appropriate person.
- Remains current with all activities that threaten the security of all areas of responsibility.
- Ensures at all times that the fidentiality Rulese observed and enforced on all Corporate Security and Surveillance personnel, investigations, projects and programs.
- Takes initiative to learn all aspects of the Surveillance Department.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Required: - High School Diploma
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a previous Casino in either Surveillance or Table Games.
Preferred: - Previous Supervision or Management experience
- Working knowledge of iTrak
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - MA Gaming License
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:. - Thorough knowledge of all table games, gambling policies, gaming regulations, and procedures for all casino departments.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to motivate and supervise individuals to work as a team and accomplish common goals.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
