About Group Government Affairs
The Legal & Compliance Unit is responsible for all aspects of legal, regulatory, compliance and governance matters across Mubadala. By working closely with each Business and Corporate Unit, we protect and promote the best interests of the company by identifying and managing risks affecting Mubadala, its assets and its investments.
In close coordination with both the Business and Corporate Units, we engage at the outset of all projects and transactions; we draft and negotiate the documents relating to such projects and transactions and we play a critical role in monitoring and, where necessary, enforcing Mubadala’s contractual and legal rights.
The Challenge The Administrative Officer is responsible to ensure the effective organization and administration of the Government Affairs team, ensuring that agenda of its senior members are focused on business priorities and that they are enabled to meet all their commitments.
Key Responsibilities Be the Ambassador for the Government Affairs Team ensuring that all requests, instructions are received and acted on in a professional manner ensuring good experience for all parties.
Ensure proactive follow up on all agreed actions for the Government Affairs department.
Support senior members in being properly prepared for meetings with the information they require.
Regular Administration will include: Diary and Calendar Management, Travel Booking, Basic Administration of Mubadala and External systems and process. Internal and external communication, translation and letters to external parties.
Support the team in managing events and VIP delegations including liaison and logistics management.
Qualifications Knowledge, skills and experience Bachelor Degree level is preferred
2+ years’ experience in office administration in a professional working environment
Proven ability to deal with diverse and frequently changing business agendas ensuring the director priorities are achieved.
Takes a proactive approach to helping the director priorities and manage his time.
Strong planning, organizing skills, with good attention to detail
