To effectively lead the growth of the regional ePathology business. To drive revenue and market share gains through our Indirect commercial channels. Ensure the development of clear strategies. Own and lead the regional activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers. Actively lead the region’s implementation in the field. The candidate will have deep experience in the HCIT environment and a proven track record in sales. Able to assist with installation, training and support of any new or existing ePathology installations.
Key Responsibilities: E-pathology Commercial Excellence
· Execute the regional ePathology business strategy – with specific focus to win new accounts
· Own and manage at the regional level the ePathology sales opportunities in large and medium size competitive accounts – from stage 2 to stage 4 in the funnel process
· Partner continuously with the Distribution Partners, FSS, RSM and RMDMs to ensure consistent above-market growth
· Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the ePathology solution.
· Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems market share
· Own the tender replies
· Able to communicate Vision 24 impact to customers and represent winning characteristics of Leica vs competitors
Qualifications Attribute/Skill/Experience:
- Sales background with a proven record of delivering sustained double-digit revenue growth and strong market share gains in the field of Healthcare IT sales
Builds effective relationships both inside and outside the organization – ability to work effectively in a matrix structure and be accountable for delivering business results without direct reports
Language requirement local + English
Evidence of strong influencing and collaboration skills
Strong commercial awareness: deep understanding of capital sales, rental reagent sales and leasing agreements
In-depth understanding of the requirements and the importance to follow procedures and process as this is a highly regulated sector by the FDA and other governmental bodies.
Healthcare industry: knowledge of technologies, products, processes and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness, especially in the field of Immunohistochemistry.
Financial acumen: budgets, forecasting, providing quotations, responding to tenders and managing priorities to meet revenue targets.
Complete understanding of LIS, HIS, PACS and other hospital and laboratory information systems.
Ability to integrate third party software into hospital and laboratory LIS, HIS etc.
