- Receives and endorses patient, takes and records vital signs, renders direct nursing care.
- Carries out physicians' order, administer medications as assigned, observes patient's reaction to medication, documents and checks expiry date of medicines.
- Monitors patient's condition notifies the physician of untoward manifestation of patients and refers laboratory examination.
- Prepare patients for and assists with examination and treatments, prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipments, medicines and supplies and ensure the stock of supplied is maintained.
- Provide first aid, instruct patients on topic such as health education, disease prevention.
- Discharged patients and instructs on proper administration of home medications given to patients.
- Make referrals, triage patients, respond to emergency situation.
- Charts assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care accurately.
