i. Prepare and issue the development brief in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
ii. Manage the procurement process of Consultants.
iii. In consultation with stakeholders, develop a Development budget which Consultants are to adhere to during all design phases
iv. Manage design coordination between various stakeholders whilst ensuring the product is within budget and is delivered in accordance with the baseline schedule.
v. Administer Value Engineering workshops as necessary.
vi. Provide periodic status reports (weekly, monthly and ad hoc) during pre-construction stages.
vii. Provides early warning of any potential issues that may affect the delivery of the product from a commercial, schedule and specification perspective and communicates these issues to Senior Management.
viii. Conducts Design Gateway reviews and reviews Consultants submissions to ensure compliance with the design brief and development budgets.
ix. Ensures all Consultants are executing their duties and services in accordance with their contractual obligations, and are aligned within the interests of MOBH Properties.
x. Administers presentations to various MOBH stakeholders as necessary at strategic intervals of the design phase.
xi. Assists in risk management reviews with Senior Management.
xii. Coordinates with Government Agencies to ensure compliance with the relevant Authority having jurisdiction over such matters and compliance with codes and standards.
xiii. Assist in ensuring product is ready for Authorities inspections.
xiv. Manages team resources, both internal and external to optimize productivity and ensures that the project is delivered within the agreed time, cost and specifications.
xv. Achieves the Company's goal to develop products that are the first choice in every product and price segment across every development category such as healthcare, residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.
xvi. Maintains and adopts the Company's HSEQ policies whenever they are discharging their duties on behalf of the Company.
Skills - Minimum Graduate degree and/or professional qualification in a related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum ten(10) years experience in project/development management in a similar environment i.e. Property development / Consultancy / Construction.
Skills:
- Creative and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of design processes and techniques, local market conditions and competencies, commercial and contractual matters.
- Competent knowledge of local Authority's development regulations.
- Good English languages skills required.
- Strong inter-personal, organizational and presentation skills required.
- Strong reporting and computer skills (MS Office).
