Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range
- FTE: 1.0, Full Time
- Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift, plus 4-6 weeks a year on-call administrator duties (including weekends)

Functions/Duties of Position
The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor for CT is responsible for daily coordination of the CT department functions to assure services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and workflow. Works effectively with The Center For Heatlh and Healing Imaging Supervisor to assure appropriate staff coverage in addition to coordination and coverage of CT scanners in the main department, ED /Trauma and PET/CT in Nuclear Medicine. Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum. Performs CT exams as required. Communicates effectively with staff and works collaboratively with Radiologists, clinicians and ancillary services to assure the highest quality of patient care with CT exams, in addition to the coordination of multiple research exam protocols. The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor for CT will provide technical expertise and recommendations as requested by their supervisor(s). The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor for CT or will assure continuous communication with problem solving of CT scanner service issues with clinical engineering, the on-site vendor service engeneer, managers and supervisors as appropriate. The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor for CT will perform other duties as assigned. Will serve as a technical resource to the staff, management, imaging physicists, and Radiologists as necessary.
Job Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists approved training program.Experience working in a Level I / II Trauma Center, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated CT technologist experience
- A minimum of 2 years of management and/or Lead experience is required
- Demonstrated knowledge in the understanding of cross-sectional anatomy
- Have the ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care and the completeness and appropriateness of exams ordered
- Good judgment, decision-making skills, and good organization and communication skills
- Have the ability to demostrate critial thinking and problem solving skills
- Must be able to stand, lift, and move patients
- Familiarity with and be accountable to maintaining Joint Commission/CMS requirements
- Must have American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT, RT-R)
- Must have OBMI license
- Must have valid and approved BLS certification
- Must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in CT within 6 months of hire
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Formal training program with completed range of documented or demonstrated technical competencies that include at least 6 months of full time clinical experience
