The Challenge Mubadala is seeking to deploy capital in two areas:
- Helping to address the GCC’s most pressing healthcare needs through the creation of specialist, world-class healthcare facilities, building regional capability and stimulating the overall development of the sector.
- Create an international private equity portfolio of directly owned investments. Mubadala Healthcare will acquire significant minority positions across the majority of healthcare sub-sectors with a focus on North America, the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities - Act and behave with a Principal’s mindset in the deployment of investment capital
- Perform due diligence, financial modelling, feasibility studies and business case development
- Analyse investment options to improve returns and create value
- Prepare investment memos and investment committee documentation
- Assist in presentation of recommended investments to the Healthcare leadership team
- Support the team to refine the investment strategy and execution model for Mubadala Healthcare inline with global best in class practices
- Mentor and coach all junior members of the team including UAE Nationals to become capable investors and business leaders
Qualifications Knowledge, skills and experience - Strong set of business ethics and personal integrity
- Bachelors degree (or higher) from a top tier University in Economics, Finance, or equivalent quantitate based subject (e.g. Engineering)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a top-tier investment bank or investment organization or an accounting firm focused on due diligence (e.g. Transaction Services team)
- Strong business acumen with experience in critically evaluating business and investment opportunities
- Superior quantitative skills, to include: financial modeling and valuation
- Proven ability to manage projects under significant time pressure
- Autonomous and proactive
- Delivering results and meeting expectations

- Strong verbal and written skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (World, Excel and Power Point)
