Job Description Responsible for management of the creditors function within the bank, ensuring that duties in relation to accounts payable are carried out to the required standards to achieve the company's financial and business objectives.
Requirements Qualification Required: Graduation in Commerce, Professional qualifications in Finance preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 Years in similar position
Computer Knowledge: MS Excel and ERP (SAP Preferred)
Requirement of the role:
- Should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable function.
- Proven experience in large organizations with multiple branches. Experience in healthcare industry/ big audit firms preferred.
- Great Interpersonal skills and excellent communication.
Key Outputs Responsible for managing the centralized accounts payable function.
Manage the payables team and provide necessary training.
Maintain strict internal controls and adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
Review and Authorize vendor payments
Ensure timely and accurate payment to the vendors.
Handle queries and complaints from different parties.
Timely closing of payables books for Monthly/year end reporting.
Maintain excellent working relationship with various stake holders.
Monthly analysis of advances paid to Suppliers.
Ensure the Supplier Reconciliations are performed on periodic basis.
Maintain proper records to track major projects and contracts.
Provide various reports as requested by the management.
Actively participate in IT implementations and enhancements.
Liaise with internal and external Auditors and provide them all required information.
Update Payable policies from time to time.
