JOB SUMMARY Provide quality medical care to South Shore Medical patients. Perform general medical assistant duties. Prepare the patient for the office visit, enter chief complaint and vital signs into the electronic medical record. Prepare equipment for procedures, chaperone and assist all procedures as needed. Follow up to office visit will include the administration of treatments and patient education.
QUALIFICATIONS Completion of an accredited medical assistant program required, certification preferred. One year in a similar environment preferred.
