We are seeking for qualified individual for the position of Project Management Officer (PMO) - UAE National.
Job Summary The Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for the definition and outcome of the processes for all NRL projects. The PMO will work closely with all levels of management to ensure the scope of each project is defined and evaluated against NRL departmental projects for resource allocation and timely completion.
Responsibilities - Ensure effective and efficient communication and collaboration between all Managers in order to move the Program or Project forward with successful delivery.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, business units, corporate teams, and external partners to create and manage project plans toward successful delivery
- Work closely with sponsor and business owners to achieve Program or Project objectives; act as an advisor and consultant to the sponsor and business owners as it relates to the Program or Project
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and work sessions with internal and external team members and stakeholders at all levels as needed to drive Program and Project success
- Address and work to resolve any shortfalls in Program and Project plan deliverables.
- Ensure appropriate identification of root causes of issues through effective use of data analysis tools and techniques and coordinate corrective action.
- Create and establish meaningful reports and presentation surrounding key initiatives, project progression, and foundation communications toward target audience and various stakeholder levels.
- Prepare and present findings/proposals to senior leadership with recommendations, risk mitigation, and action plans
- Work with significant autonomy, patience and flexibility
Qualifications and Skills - BSc Degree in appropriate academic areas with more than 5 years' experience.
- Experience in project leadership, change management and cross-functional team management
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically, using experience and knowledge when considering a broad range of project or program factors; recognize strategic opportunities toward success
- Champion new initiatives; act as a catalyst for change and stimulate others to change; manage implementation effectively
- Lead to develop and implement specific goals and objectives
- Team-oriented and solutions-oriented with ability to bring people together by leading and motivating teams of Projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create, motivate and facilitate cross-team collaboration across business units and Stakeholders to deliver program, project and organizational objectives.
- Must possess excellent IT skills: (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
- General knowledge of healthcare industry and workflow is preferable but not essential.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
- PMP certification preferred but not essential
