Job Description Mediclinic Group is looking for a Female Consultant Anesthesia with ICU-CCU Experience to join our team in Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital-Abu Dhabi.
Mediclinic Al Noor hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital providing a full continuum of healthcare services including; inpatient and outpatient, medical, surgical and diagnostic services with round-the-clock Emergency and Pediatric services. The Hospital has over 85 operational beds and 4 operation theatres. Moreover, the Hospital is staffed with highly qualified medical professionals and operates the latest equipment in an effort to deliver exceptional healthcare to every patient. The Hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services including; Oncology, Orthopedics and Trauma, Obstetrics and Gynecology, IVF, ENT, Pediatrics, Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, among many others.
Requirements Basic Medical Degree and completion of a relevant recognised higher professional education program recognised by DOH.
Certification and registration in Anaesthesia recognised by DOH: American Board Certification, or CCT/CCST Anaesthesia, or an equivalent.
Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Anaesthesia including paediatric anaesthesia.will be highly regarded.
Must have good experience in obstetric anesthesia and should be skilled and confident in providing epidurals.
Minimum of eight (8) years' experience since gaining higher qualification.
One year consultant level experience in a western hospital setting in preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and publication in peer reviewed journals would be well regarded.
High level of interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to work cohesively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team is expected of this role.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded)
Proficiency is electronic record system
Has demonstrated experience in managing teams
Key Outputs Responsible for providing comprehensive consultant level patient care in Anaethesia.
Participates equitably in the on-call roster and participates in the educational activities of the Medical Staff as a whole.
Conducts Clinical Audits in line with Medical Advisory Committee requirements.
Participates in review and planning activities relevant to the development and promotion of the Anaesthesia Services and the Hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Fulfills professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Anaesthesia
Carries out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position.
Liaises with patients, families, medical staff, nursing staff, other clinical staff, referring doctors
