Our Client, a large local multi-specialty healthcare provider, is currently looking for a Critical Care Medicine Specialist to join the Critical Care / ICU Team. The Ideal Candidate will be based in the UAE and will have a Valid DHA license or a DHA Eligibility Letter. Main duties and responsibilities include:
Provide patient focused Critical Care Medicine and ensure optimal clinical care of patients in the department in line with the clinical privileges granted.
Work within a multidisciplinary team with a personalized and caring attitude.
Provide leadership, supervision and support to junior clinical staff.
Help develop and participate in, a postgraduate training program for all clinical staff.
Development, implementation and revision of the department's scope of services.
Operational responsibility for the identification of resources required for his/her department, and the effective utilization of the said resources within budgetary guidelines.
To understand and comply with the principles of clinical governance.
Leading quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Assessing risk, incident reports and participating in risk management
Skills Qualification: MD/DM/DNB/CCST/FRCPCH or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years post specialization in Critical Care
Knowledge / Technical Skills: BLS certification
ACLS certified
PALS certified
ATLS certification
NRP certification
