Job Description Mediclinic Middle East is looking for highly-skilled and qualified Physiotherapists with musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience for their hospital and clinics in Al Ain Region.
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the specialized team comprising medical, nursing and other healthcare staff, providing advice and recommendations regarding physiotherapy input and contributing toward the department.
Requirements • Must have Bachelor's degree in a Physiotherapy program from an accredited educational institution, college or university.
- Active HAAD eligibility or license is a definite advantage
- Must have at least 3 years of work experience in an inpatient and outpatient setting preferably dealing with musculoskeletal cases as well as sports physiotherapy .
- Possession of or evidence on studying towards a Master's degree in physiotherapy or OMT qualification is a must.
- Previous experience of practicing in the U.A.E. is preferred.
- Should have license/registration from the country of original physiotherapy training
- Excellent communication skills, to be able to provide the best possible service to patients.
Key Outputs • Undertake the specialist assessment of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those of highly complex presentations.
- Demonstrate effective and efficient case load management through prioritization of patients
- Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical and professional activity
- Work as an integral part of the team comprising Medical, Nursing and other Healthcare staff, providing advice and recommendations regarding Physiotherapy input and contributing toward service development.
- Responsible for maintenance of accurate written records that comply with Professional & Legal requirements for self and team including comprehensive progress and discharge reports to referrers
- Develop, implement and maintain clinical guidelines (along with Head of Department) ensuring clinical effectiveness to optimal patient care.
- Support HOD to develop a specialist physiotherapy service that maximizes patient care and makes best use of resources
- Undertake clinical audit and clinical effectiveness activities
