Our client represents 30 of the "World’s 50 Most Admired Wine Brands" and is the #1 distributor in the country, with emphasis on high quality retail outlets that focus on customer-service and brand quality.
JOB OVERVIEW The Wine Category Manager role is an opportunity to become a senior person in an exciting global wine company in one of the most exciting domestic markets in the world, with a growing footprint in multiple countries. We are looking for a customer-centric leader who can provide both strategic vision and drive successful Marketing Sales performance.
YOUR ROLE PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: able to forecast and communicate confidently and consultatively with principals
- Produce and implement marketing plans for wine principals to ensure the brand and volume objectives are achieved
- Develop and maintain the wine portfolio through sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing
- Senior enough to influence other regions purchasers
ENTHUSIASM FOR SELLING: Increase Market share in UAE
- Enlarge leadership as #1 UAE Beverage distributor
- Putting together Incentive programs to motivate KAM's and shops to sell a full spectrum of wines
MARKETING:
- Market and Promote contracted wine agencies across sales channels
- Possibly produce/edit a quarterly consumer facing wine magazine
IDEAL CANDIDATE Wine Enthusiast - WSET Level 3, or DIploma
OnTrade / Retail Experience - able to interact with customers often
Confident Communicator - comfortable interacting with people at multiple levels within the organization and external clients
Excellent English language skills (speaking, reading and writing)
