Our client is a British run healthcare services provider based in Dubai. They are seeking a Community Midwifery Lead who is passionate about midwifery and community care and is looking for that next stage in your career.
Description: - This is a new role within an expanding health services organization
- Educating and training nurses on care for new born babies within the community
- Running workshops to support families including prenatal classes, hypnobirthing workshops all the way to postnatal sleep consultations, lactation support, babysitting and maternity night and day nursing
- Compiling patient notes (experience of this essential)
- Meeting with clients and conducting patient's assessments and qualifying the care needed and selecting the correct nurse for the client
- Managing community nurses
- Scheduling of nurses work rotas
- Training nurses to a high standard of British training
Skills Criteria: - Must be female and 35+ years old
- Must be a British qualified Midwife
- Native English speaker
- Degree in nursing/midwifery
- DHA eligibility is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years working as a midwife
- This role would ideally suit someone looking to step out of hospital midwifery environment and move into an educating/training/community role
- Community Care experience essential
- Western educated candidates is essential
