Job Purpose: Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure including PM, CM, inventory update and managinf security permissions access for staff, vendors, servers, devices, tools for the border control system environment
Responsibilities, Duties:
. Effective E-mail Communication both Arabic and English including writing offcial Arabic letters
. Managing and following up support engineer's vacations and the replacement plans during their annual and sick leaves
· Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database.
· Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
· Install and configure App servers (Tomcat server, Jboss).
· Must possess proven administration ability on RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or CentOS 5, 6, and/or 7, Linux Process management utilities, bash scripting and SQL queries
· Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
. Following up the attendance of the support engineers.
. Managing the deployments of new devices distributions with clients, vendors, and logistics department.
. Managing security permissions access for staff, vendors, servers, devices, tools, etc… to sites. Following up with related departments to collect the necessary documents.
. Following up to ensure signing delivery notes for deliverable devices
. Following the preventive maintenance are running on time. Prepare reports accordingly
. Preparing technical reports, incident's letters and request's letters when necessary in both Arabic and English
. Collecting detailed inventory from team and make sure it's accurate and up to date
. Auditing and ensuring that invoices are accurate
· Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
· Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
. Managing network devices (switches and F5) using network configuration and debugging utilities. Monitoring server and tools, NTP (ntpd).
. Managing partitions and hard drives at your system - especially at different RAID levels and logical volumes management (LVM)

· System Administration, LAN/WAN Knowledge, Performance Tuning ; Strong analytical skills, Virtulization (VMware)
. Effective Team Management
. Strong Linux administration skills; f5 network big ip; Application servers knowledge (tomcat)
