Cassia has been appointed to recruit an Information Technology Team Leader for a holding company in Fujairah. The following are the responsibilities of the position.
- Supervise, guide and direct day-to-day activities of the IT department
- Monitor, support and maintain the computer systems as well as the networks within a company
- Set, implement, monitor and coordinate systems, policies and procedures for installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, both local-area and wide-area networking equipment, workstations and servers
- Investigating, diagnosing, plan and undertake new technical solutions and scheduled maintenance upgrades;
- Manage applications’ configuration and upgrades, generate problem analysis and resolution for complex application problems, assist users and external application or service suppliers where necessary;
- Analyze data from systems and user processes, produce technical data and process flow diagrams as well as reports;
- Manage data quality in the systems, develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented;
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures, network access, information security and control structures
- Develop, recommend and coordinate information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements, etc.;
- Supervising IT department staff and ensure training of team members to independently execute responsibilities;
- Create annual and project budget, schedule expenditures, handle the approved budget and ensure cost effectiveness;
- Communicate and negotiate with contractors and vendors;
