We are looking to expand the Finance Department for one of Royal Group subsidiary and hence, we are looking to recruit 2 Senior Accountants.
Job Summary: To ensure all financial transactions are complying with the Group Finance' Financial policy. Manage the day to day operation of the Royal Group's subsidiary finance department and ensure satisfaction of all stakeholders by providing accurate & timely information.
Main Accountabilities: - Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and G/L function.
- Prepare prepayment, (staff) provision and accrual schedules.
- Review and approve fixed asset and revenue schedules.
- Supervise and approve reconciliations of Bank/Cash/ in transit accounts/ Revenue and Expenditure accounts and subledgers to general ledger.
- Supervise and approve reconciliation statements for suppliers and contractors.
- Preparation of adhoc, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly financial reports and analyses.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare cashflow projections and forecasts to ensure availability of funds for upcoming payments.
- Prepare staff salaries, staff settlements and EOS schedules, ensuring staff are paid correctly and timely.
- Coordination with Internal & External Auditors.
- Be prepared to take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor Degree is required and Professional Accounting qualification is highly desirable.
- At least 5+ years experience working as Senior Accountant, preferably within construction sector in UAE.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of Oracle and accounting Software packages.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices including IFRS. Cashflow management & reporting.
