In-depth knowledge of the following is a must:
- Cisco technology and related network equipment configuration
- Servers and desktops peripheral hardware, operating systems & management
- Through understanding of network technologies ( Voice & Data)
- LAN & WAN configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience of defining selection criteria for new technology and of evaluating new technology against defined criteria
- Creative thinker with experience of developing innovative/robust & workable solutions to technology services requirements within acceptable parameters (cost, time, resource etc)
- Good judgment & reasoning skills with the ability to evaluate diverse business requirements & technical factors to determine priorities/actions
- Good commercial judgment with experience of developing robust & cost-effective technical recommendations/ solutions to support business requirements
- Excellent project management skills with experience of leading complex technical projects.
- Excellent understanding of vendor management practices eg procurement terms and conditions, service level agreements etc with experience of vendor management
- Self-reliant/self-driven, ability to work independently under pressure, multitask, be intuitive & discreet
- Flexible 'can do attitude', customer oriented, accurate, methodical with attention to detail
Skills CCNP, Prince 2 or PMP, ITIL, MCSE with more than 7 years + industry experience and Valid UAE license.
- The position will be based in Dubai, however the scope will cover support to ME & Africa region which includes 5 -10 % travelling
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good influencing & persuasion skills with experience of gaining co-operation & commitment to required actions/proposals
- Excellent networking skills with an established network of business contacts
- Good presentation skills with experience of developing & presenting business proposals relating to technical issues/projects
