- Experience in modern Information system architectures and design including technical leadership
- Applied skills in modelling, design and development of Big data solutions
- Bridging the gap between Functional and Technical teams especially in an Agile development environment
- Experience in architecting and maintaining technologies such as Hadoop & Spark.
- Good working knowledge in Apache Hadoop framework, HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, Flume, Kafka, Sqoop, Oozie, Spark, Spark Streaming related Big Data skills.
- Good understanding of Java Programming language.
Skills - Demonstrable experience of which at least two years should be at a supervisory level related to Information & Analytics architecture. Experience in large corporate and multi-cultural environments would be advantageous.
