The Medical Tourism department of the U.A.E.'s premier Hospital is inviting applications for Business Development Manager, who will be accountable for identifying and developing business opportunities for the Hospital, as well as serving as an advisor and consultant on existing programs and initiatives.
Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Assists the Head of International Marketing to support programs and initiatives at the Hospital with specific focus on adding value in the long term.
- Conducts market and competitive analysis to develop strategic marketing plans. Identifies potential business opportunities for international client customer development.
- Builds good rapport and constructive relationships with all key stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Lead the Hospital’s Business Development team to ensure that the Hospital is internationally marketing its services and developing marketing materials.
- Coordinates with the PR agency and social media to enhance brand and communication strategies.
- Interacts with customers to understand their health care requirements and bridges the gaps in services provided/available to them. Manages complaints in a timely sensitive manner in accordance with policy.
- Selects, appoints, retains and promotes the most appropriately qualified and experienced staff as needed in conjunction with Human Resources. Provides induction training to new staff and develops the knowledge and skills of existing staff.
- Creating presentations on targets, impact measurement, goals for the entire International marketing team for regular reviews with senior management. Focuses on meeting / exceeding budgetary and agreed performance targets.
Qualification Required: - A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or an equivalent is required.
- Master’s in International Business, Marketing is preferable.
Experience Required: - Must have at least 5 years of prior experience in marketing, business development, and human resources.
- Experience in Medical Tourism sector is a plus.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
