Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Supervisor Product Planning to join our Watercraft Group. You will assist in managing the Product Planning Staff as well as being responsible for developing and maintaining the accessory plans and strategies for a particular product category within the Customer Support Group.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: - Assist in overseeing the development and maintenance of accessory plans and strategies to support the MTP and financial targets determined by CSG.
- Assist in overseeing the gathering and analysis of surveys, market information, and sales data to help identify current and emerging trends within the respective Yamaha markets.
- Develop and present high-level presentation materials for Management, internal education, and marketing efforts, as well as external groups.
- Work closely with the appropriate Unit Groups to ensure customer accessory needs are represented and integrated within the development of new units.
- Create accessory plans including accessory lists, pricing targets, projected fit-up ratios and overall project profitability projections developed by the CSG
- Maintain and enforce the Accessory Development Process (A-Process) established by CSG to promote the on time and on cost delivery of accessories for all product categories
- Approval of Product Planning accessory plans and strategies for product categories determined by the Product Planning Manager
Requirements: - BA / BS degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 5 years work experience in Marketing and / or Product Planning.
- 2 yrs of previous supervisory experience.
- Valid Drivericense and a clean driving record are required.
- Must be able to travel up to 35%.
- Project Management experience is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to research, analyze and develop conclusions.
- Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
