Purchase Assistant - F&B
Salary: up to AED 6,000 based on experience
Location: Dubai
Our Client, One of the most popular restaurant concepts in the region, is a casual dining restaurant offering a variety of Pakistani, Afghani and North Indian inspired cuisine.
With locations across The UAE they offer buffet's, dine-in, carry-outs, delivery and on location catering. They also have a growing QSR.
Due to this expansion we are seeking a highly talented Purchasing Assistant.
Key role is to assist in a wide variety of tasks related to procurement of goods and services including purchase requisitions, vendor relations and bid summaries.
Skills Responsibilities - Receive purchase requests from different departments, ensuring that they are in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assist in identifying competent suppliers/contractors/vendors, who fulfil all pre-requisites as per internal policies and procedures.
- Receive quotations and forward them to procurement officer for screening and comparison purposes.
- Assist procurement officer in preparing comparison sheets as per approved formats and procedures.
- Assist procurement officer in issuing LPOs to selected supplier/contractor/vendor
- Receive purchased goods/items, ensuring their compliance with agreed specifications, and terms and conditions of delivery.
- Follow-up with suppliers/contractors/vendors for the purposes of after-sales service and maintenance.
- Assist procurement officer in completing all required documentation for procurement cycle as per policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience within the UAE within purchasing / procurement
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience with F&B preferred
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in English.
