The HR Officer is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting throughout the organization. This position carries out the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The HR Officer-Recruitment will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible talent for the vacant position.
Skills - Efficiently and effectively fill open positions;
- Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations/HR consultancy, internet sources and in other position appropriate venues;
- Utilize online recruitment facilities;
- Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications;
- Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources;
- Conducts regular follow-up with recruiting managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation;
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates recruiting;
- Prepares and send employment offer packages;
- Creates job description;
- Facilitates employee orientation;
- Input employees document data into the HR system to ensure that the information is accurate, complete and up to date;
- Assists with other staff members to ensure implementation of all HR policies and procedures;
- Performs other related duties as may be required by immediate supervisor.
