Job Description - Provide advice on the development of strategic plans, objectives and key performance indicators for all activities and projects implemented by the Department in accordance with RTA vision, policy, rules and regulations.
- Facilitating the Management Review on performance, progress towards the objectives & targets, programs etc.
- Advice on the selection of Department consultants and partners.
- Provide advice on the selection of cadres for hiring & recruitment policy for RTA.
- Provide advice on an annual budget and forecast, monitor implementation, evaluate and recommend specific adjustments during the implementation to project needs.
- Ensure the timely submission of management measurable objectives to the CEO
- Achieve the requirements of RTA central departments such as human resources department, finance department and procurement department
- Carry out the tasks of implementing complaints and suggestions for department and maintain the performance indicators required in this field.
- Conduct specialized and technical training for department staff and ensure the development of their skills and abilities.
- Follow up the implementation of higher management instructions and agency instructions and other instructions received by the Department with the departments and engineers and to find all systems to codify the follow up processes and closure within the specified period.
- Follow up the implementation of committees and teams recommendations in the Department with concerned departments and sections.
- Carry out the tasks related to the implementation of Partnership Management Manual provisions in RTA concerning partnership projects with strategic partners and partners.
- Advice on the formulation, review and revision of traffic Deprtment policies, procedures and processes.
- Interact with departmental managers and provide all technical and engineering consultancy necessary to carry out department tasks such as traffic engineering, traffic safety, traffic awareness and advertising, in addition to transportation integration and any changes in the Department's organizational structure.
- Provide consultation on the formation of legislative and executive framework for the Integrated Accident Management System for the Emirate of Dubai and the Traffic Engineering Systems.
- Work with the director and department’s managers to develop and prepare annual budgets, schedules and work plans for various project, initiatives and teams / committees, and ensure that projects and initiatives meet or exceed the objectives set out in the plans.
- Responsible for developing, managing and ensuring the implementation of safety and traffic awareness projects / programs directly on the basis of Department's operational plan, investment opportunities programs and maximizing revenues.
- Provide advice to sub-task teams on the preparation and updating of Department Technical manuals, draft and revise traffic Department policy and procedures.
- Conduct field visits to project sites and ensure that required work is carried out as planned.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position when appropriate.

Education Master in Business Administration / Management from a recognized university.
