About the Role An exciting position has arisen for a Financial Analyst, to join the Finance at Madinat Jumeirah Resort. The main purpose of this position is for analysing and interpreting financial and operating results, managing the budget and month end process and overall control of the General Ledger and Accounts Payable sections.
Your main duties will include: Analyse and interpret accounting and financial data to produce reports and presentations requested by the management.
Produce operational and financial performance reports such as key trends and business drivers to support the financial review presentation.
Assist in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Ensures that end of month is completed on an accurate and timely basis and that all reporting deadlines for stake-holders are met.
Development of appropriate analyses identifying significant positive and/or negative trends for the Resort.
Ensure end of month is completed on an accurate and timely basis.
Completion of weekly cash flow analysis and fortnightly forecast.
Produce and analyse the ROI projections on special projects.
Responsible for the maintenance and process of the reporting, forecasting and budgeting application.
Verify the accuracy of all reports.
Ad-hoc systems implementation e.g. Capex Control, Hyperion, Document Management System.
Promote the image of the department by giving full support to other departments and creating financial awareness.
Adhere to format and documentation standards.
Adhere to Jumeirah Finance directives.
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with external and internal customers.
Resolve internal/external conflicts.
Qualifications About You: To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting from an internationally recognized institution.
It is essential that you have mini two years experience in a similar position and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance.
