Job Description: A reputable multinational pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting for a Financial Controller (1 Year Contract) to be based in Dubai, UAE. This client has the ability and reputation for being able to attract and retain the very best talent on the market, so competition for this opportunity will be high.
Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring statutory financial requirements and US GAAP are delivered and adhered to in line with corporate policies and local regulations
- Monthly review of Balance sheet and P&L
- Supervising the monthly close on a timely basis and monthly balance sheet reconciliation process
- Perform corporate reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual)
- Verifying payroll, payroll-related taxes
- Delivering advice on business processes, taxes and accounting
- Controlling the purchasing process
To be successful you will need to meet the following: - Open to all nationalities; Arab speakers are preferred
- Qualified Accountant
- At least 8 years of experience within multinational Pharma or FMCG companies
- Knowledge of US GAAP, accounting and taxation
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with ERP is an advantage
