If so, this maybe the role that youbeen waiting for. As a Bottling Supervisor, you will supervise all operations in production of finished case goods in accordance with policies set by department. Your responsibilities will include: production scheduling, performance evaluating, efficiency analysis and improvement, quality analysis and improvement, and assist in management of safety and training programs. You will also play a critical role in assisting the manager of the department on productivity, efficiency, and cost accountabilities.
Responsibilities - Oversee production operations with regards to production scheduling, safety, staffing, attendance, reporting, procedure adherence, consistency, and quality
- Drive change and new training program, provide employee support
- Maintain communication, expectation, and direction relating to all aspects of the daily production requirements
- Continuously showing strong production floor presence on machine centers to keep the consistent flow of production moving
- Work directly with other Bottling Supervisors in achieving and maintaining the accuracy and consistent flow of information, execution of procedure, and overall performance of the operation
- Personally, perform daily walks and physical inspections of the Warehouse and Bottling line to consistently maintain safety and 5S
- Work in conjunction with Demand Planning, Winemaking, Warehousing, Procurement, and Cellar to oversee the successful changes in daily and weekly bottling schedule requirements
- Develop skills set in JD Edwards regarding Work Order management and Inventory Management
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience (foreman experience acceptable)
- Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability
- Good interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office experience, including Word and Excel
- Ability to identify and analyze problems, recommend, and implement strategic solutions
Preferred Qualifications - Bacheloregree
- Knowledge of 5S and LEAN practices
- Six Sigma Certification
- Production management experience in manufacturing, beverage, or wine industry
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Works in warm/cold climates
- Works in high places
- Works on wet surfaces
- Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
- Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
- Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
- Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting
