Title: Research Analyst
Reporting to: Head of Research and Advisory
Location: United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities: Assisting Senior Research Analysts in preparing research on listed and potential companies within a specific industry in order to make recommendations regarding investment strategy. Staying abreast of trends and news within an industry, such as corporate information/ disclosures, mergers and acquisitions, competitive position, and financial stability of organizations and make objective assessment of their impact to the potential of a particular company and market in a macro perspective.
Determine relevant benchmarks and develop custom benchmarks, if necessary.
Provide informational or statistical response through data gathering, organizes and analyses relevant data, tables, graphs, and charts. Reviews reports, papers, memos, and articles to ensure proper use of data and offer statistical consultation.
Prepare complex reports related to risk assessment, variance and recommend alternatives as needed. Assist broker representatives regarding use and utilization of models, tools, systems, research techniques. Assist in developing research products tailored for all investors/clients.
Experience: Graduate of Finance, Economics, or Statistics
CFA charter holder or candidate 3-7 years of experience in market research and security analysis
High level understanding of various technical and fundamental research techniques
