Description - Develop and manage an annual roadmap of IT Governance developments and enhancements which align to the IT Strategy and meet business requirements.
- Oversee IT Projects & Programs across the portfolios in order to ensure they are executed as per the agreed timelines, quality standards and SLAs and that customer requirements are met.
- Analyse current and proposed projects or programs, based on key characteristics to determine the optimal mix and sequencing of proposed projects to best achieve the organisation's overall goals.
- Develop and run the Project Management Office with the aim of improving project & program management capability and act as single source of truth for the status of current projects in the Technology group.
- Establish an IT PMO Committee to oversee all initiatives, review them and approve them in order to adhere to the governance requirements.
- Be an active member of all new IT initiatives as a member of the IT Investment Review Board, in order to provide advice and guidance when required.
- Ensure transparency on IT spending by coordinating with the company's Finance function and providing a structured framework and related processes around budgeting, IT accounting and charging.
- Project/Program risk management, including risk assessment strategy and policies, etc. in order to ensure any challenges/ issues are resolved timely and the project progresses as per plan.
- Manage external vendors related to the IT Governance function, so that they provide high quality services, meet service level agreements and do so at competitive prices.
- Lead the recruitment, retaining and developing of quality IT resources and effective teams in the areas of Project Management, Quality and Performance
The Successful Applicant - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology
- Formal Project management training and certification is a strong preference (eg. Prince2, PMP)
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Information Technology
- Working knowledge of Project Management, Financial Management, Quality and Performance
- Management
- Demonstrated high competency in project management and the execution of multiple and large projects.
- Working knowledge of ITIL, CoBit or other control objects
- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, change management and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
- Knowledge in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF) and other methodologies
- Experience in ePPM (enterprise Project Portfolio Management) solutions
