About the School WSS - Established in 2012, GEMS Westminster School - Sharjah, is a modern, state-of-the-art school that offers an exceptional standard of education to children from around the world. The school currently enrolls students from foundation stage to year 9; however the school will grow with our pupils up to year 13 in successive years. To reflect the international standing of our school and the cosmopolitan nature of Sharjah, the third largest city in the UAE, we teach all our pupils the National Curriculum for England. This internationally recognized programme of study prepares children for the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE), Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level and A Level Examinations.
About the Role Senior School - Accounts Teacher
We are looking for outstanding teachers who are excited to join our world-class schools and are driven to provide education at an exceptional level. GEMS teachers enjoy an enriching school environment in which to deliver a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students.
Qualification: Bachelors Degree Finance/Accounting + Masters Degree Finance/Accounting, also Bachelor of Education (preferred).
2 years experience teaching Senior School students.
A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
An excellent team player both within the department and across phases
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
Good command of English
