Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading group of trading companies in UAE, who is looking to hire “Group Treasury Manager” to be based in their Dubai office.

Job Responsibility: - Direct the strategy formulation exercise for the Finance department, in coordination with the other Heads and the Chief Officer of the department, ensuring alignment to the objectives and strategy of the organization.
- Provide timely input for the preparation of the group's financial strategy and operational plans within the Finance Department.
- Supervise the monitoring of the effectiveness of finance policies and procedures with respect to treasury management (i.e. cash flows, bank operations/transfers, liquidity management, invest funds FOREX activities, financial risk management etc.) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure understanding of and compliance with the agreed policies and procedures by the employees performing Treasury related processes.
- Review the budget requirements of the Treasury function, and accordingly participate in the development of the budget of the Finance Department.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators for the Treasury function and the underlying processes and continually monitor performance of the sections against the agreed targets.
- Identify funding requirements of the Group and liaise with Business Unit Heads within the Group and Group CFO to discuss funding options; negotiate terms with financial service providers and ensure that the Treasury department is using the right instruments and investment methods that can fit both the risk profile and the required level of returns within the appropriate time frame.
- Regular monitoring of liquidity of the Group and ensure funds are available to meet short term business needs. Keeping track of LCs, BGs and other financial arrangements with banks and ensuring timely movement and liquidations such instruments.
- Supervise all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, account funding and ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs and invest short term excess cash.
- Manage inter-Group cash, including inter-Group lending and capital injections.
- Review major payment schedule and commitments . Ensure adequacy of processes and controls for collection of cash and cheques.
- Monitor cost of funding, bank agreements, fee structure with banks etc. and recommend ways and means to reduce costs.
- Keep control of all bank accounts of the Group along with signatories as well as on-line banking, ensure adequate controls are in place with respect to transaction processing and associate risks.
- Oversee the timely and rigorous review and analysis of post dated cheques maintained by banks on behalf of The Group, and ensure post dated cheques are being serviced on maturity and any bounced cheques identified and reported to BU's for follow-up with customers.
- Review all reconciliation related activities including reconciliation of remittances to respective accounts and bank reconciliations. Ensure financial books are maintained properly with all currency/hedging gains/losses and other treasury exposure and disclosed and booked in time.
- Provide daily and monthly MIS on bank balances, cash flow and various treasury activities to management and for financial reporting purposes.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelor in Business Administration with Major in Accounting/Finance. Professional certifications CA, CFA
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance Function including 5 years as managing independently Treasury of a medium to large enterprises
- Extensive experience and understanding of various accounting aspects and international trends and standards; experience, preferably in a trading or diverse environment is an advantage.
- Operating knowledge of treasury in African region a plus
- Solid knowledge of accounting, finance, and tax principles and best practices.
- Strong skills in financial accounting, financial modeling, and cash flow analysis and financial reporting.
- Should have excellent leadership, organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Should have strong analytical/problem solving and quantitative abilities.
- Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills.
