My client one of the leading banks in UAE is looking for a VP- Global Markets and Global Treasury Compliance to join their team.
Title: VP Global Markets and Global Treasury Compliance
Reporting to: SVP Head of Compliance - CIB and International
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities: To provide compliance advisory support to the GM and GT business by ensuring compliance with the rules, regulations and best practice. This role is a global role and jobholder will be responsible for overseeing Compliance advisory for GM and GT businesses in the international locations where the bank is present.
In conjunction with the different compliance units, lead and manage the creation, implementation and monitoring of the GM and GT Compliance framework and plan that properly addresses Compliance needs and requirements for GM and GT in line with laws, rules and regulations.
Act as the Compliance SME and main point of contact for GM and GT business for any related matter to Compliance or regulations.
Support the GM & GT Business to adhere to Group Compliance policies, procedures and processes and assist GM & GT management to ensure fulfilment of its compliance responsibilities.
Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in management, banking, finance, preferably with certification in compliance.
Excellent understanding of regional / international laws and regulations pertaining to Global Markets.
