My client one of the leading banks in UAE is looking for an AVP Credit Risk Analytics to join their team.
Title: AVP Credit Risk Analytics
Reporting to: SVP Credit Risk
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities: The purpose of Group Risk Management unit is to ensure sound risk management practices in the organisation and meet regulatory requirements. The unit has several deliverables that include Basel II compliance, Central bank reporting, ALM, Internal rating and embedding them in business processes, AML & Compliance, Operational loss reporting, risk reviews etc.
Develop and maintain impairment models required for IFRS 9 purposes to estimate provisions for all segments of the wholesale portfolios.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of models on Moody's Expected Credit Loss ECL Platform.
Understand the requirement for the ICAAP and Stress Testing exercises prescribed by Internal or external stakeholders.
Experience: Master's Degree or Bachelor Degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering. At least 10 years of thorough experience in Corporate Credit Risk Model Development.
