Position Summary Provides supervision and administrative decision making for the continued support and coordination of patient care services on assigned shifts.
Serves as a resource to management and staff within PNHS.
Participates in the improvement of operational and strategic planning for emergency management and inter-shift coordination across the continuum of care.
Evening and Night shift Administrative Nursing Supervisors (job codes 1VY and 1VX) receive shift differential pay
Education/Experience: Minimum of three years recent experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated supervisory abilities; strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.
BSN preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Current MN RN license
Valid MN drivers license or photo identification
Expressed desire/passion to focus on nursing, leadership, and management
Politically polite
Ability to listen
Team player
Successful leadership experience
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated negotiation abilities
Demonstrated mentoring abilities
Currently validated CPR skills
Advocate for patients
