Overall management and leadership of Group Warehouses. To ensure the implementation of safety rules, regulations and initiatives within the warehouse and material flow to align with and deliver Group Safety goals. To ensure the warehouse and material control function continues to exceed the expectations of Group's top tier international clients. Service orientated with a focus on delivery to projects. To drive implementation of innovative solutions related to the warehouse throughout the Supply Chain and interfacing functions.
- Implement innovative methods to ensure the efficient flow of all material in facilities and operations from point of entry to point of exit using latest automation technologies (barcodes, RFID, JIT methodologies etc)
- Implement 5S techniques to create a clean and organized environment
- Utilizing Lean & Six Sigma methodologies initiate and enforce best practices to deliver efficiency across the material controls function
- Monitor the Cycle Count Process as required maintaining inventory accuracy
- Be able to guide and train personnel on the proper methods for resolving production and inventory related issues in the facility’s material systems
- Establish processes and procedures that support and record inventory activities
- Work with QA/QC to enhance the speed of OS&D resolutions utilizing real time data and analytical tools
- Perform “root” cause trend analysis for discrepancies
- Perform inventory adjustments (quantity and price variance updates & analysis).
- Work in tandem with various stakeholders including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production, Procurement and accounting teams to deliver agreed projects and objectives
- Advise SCM management on company policies, procedures, and rules related to materials management
