Our client is a medium sized construction company that have been established in the UAE for over 30 years, with a proven track record delivering building projects within the residential, commercial, healthcare and retail sector.
The Senior Commercial Manager will be head of the department reporting directly into the Managing Director. The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for delivering live projects ensuring profit, and taking a hands on role pricing tenders with the estimation team. As there is a lot of change management taking place, the Senior Commercial Manager will also be responsible for making changes to his existing commercial team, and implementing procedures that he feels will add value to his department.
REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: - 15+ yrs experience
- 3+ yrs GCC experience
- Building main contractor background
- Previous experience in a regional / head of department capacity
- Strong estimation skills
- Hold a relevant industry qualification
- Must be willing to take on a hands on approach with his work
- Arabic speaking is an added benefit (Not a necessity)
