Providence is calling an Assistant Nurse Manager (Full time evening shift) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
- Assist the Nurse Manager with staffing, scheduling, and patient care management.
- Develop staff through educational programs and mentoring to achieve specific clinical goals.
- Serve as representative on department committees, govern select unit committees, and participate in care conferences.
- Liaise with patients and families to ensure effective outcomes.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and strong teaching and communication skills.
Qualifications Required qualifications for this position include:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
- 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
- Acceptable references from former employer(s)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bacheloregree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous RN experience in specialty
- Previous leadership (charge, preceptor etc) experience
