With high growth plans and targets, a General Insurer is seeking an adjunct Manager to join their finance team.
Your new function
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this function comprises of 70% operations and 30% reporting. Besides reviewing the receipts reconciliation & journal posting by the executive and acting as a backup in processing claims payments and premium refunds, you will be operationally hands-on in:
» the preparation of reinsurance statements,
» reinsurance settlement and accounting posting,
» preparation of group reporting pack,
» preparing of recharge cost,
» prepare and post monthly accruals,
» Management of fixed assets,
» Preparing of monthly commission statements and journals
» Preparing internal reports relating to claims, claims reserving, and actuarial data
» Other adhoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed You are required to have at least 5 years of significant practice in finance operations and reporting. practice in the insurance industry is a MUST.
practice in General Insurance or knowledge of reinsurance is highly advantageous.
Ideally, you have a good knowledge in finance operations, reporting, and analytical expertise.
