SUMMARY The Maintenance Supervisor provides coordination, supervision and direction of all operations related to facilities in the Senior Services division. Supervises and actively participates in the planning and scheduling of maintenance and repair work, such as plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical work and gardening. Ensures the continuous, efficient and safe operation of all boilers, refrigeration, air conditioning systems, fire systems and equipment necessary for the operation of Nursing Homes and Retirement Centers and future additions or alterations including the coordination of staff and equipment. Assigns crews to specific jobs and spot checks work to be certain all workmanship meets standards and that safety and applicable building standards are not violated. Coordinates activities with other departments to insure safe and effective operation while keeping with the Resurrection Health Care Core Values, Culture of Excellence and Standards of Performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintains time records, shift/vacation schedules; required log sheets and operating data; assist in routine calculations necessary for economical and efficient operation of the central plant, to include allied devices, controls and systems for the Plant Operations Department.
- Coordinates operations, e.g., shut downs, and accompanies/assists inspectors during these operations porting all corrections to the Division Director of Plant Operations.
- Schedules preventive maintenance procedures and maintains appropriate records, including the coordination of efforts in obtaining assistance from shop personnel in performing specific repairs.
- Performs fire and disaster duties as required. Conducts periodic drills as required by regulatory agencies. Ensures the serviceable condition of the sprinkler system, fire equipment and appliances, making periodic inspections of same.
- Conduct periodic rounds of campus to check progress of maintenance projects, facility equipment, ensuring that various systems are functioning. Confirming workmanship meets standards and is in compliance with safety/building regulations.

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent
Technical School
Three to five years of supervisory experience required.
Ability to read and understand blue prints
Ability to speak and write English to the extent necessary for safe and efficient performance of the job.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Word and Excel.
