Key Account Pricing (KAP) Specialist, Asia Pacific (Hay 10)

Accountabilities: 1. Conduct Customer pricing analysis for country requests regarding special rates
- Assess customer analysis requests from country pricing teams and ensure input information and strategy is complete
- Extract data for existing customer business in place and prepare respective customer pricing analysis report
- Simulate and analyse entire customer business with existing and potential volumes using up-to-date pricing tools and systems
- Generate accurate Customer Pricing Reports for responding to countries' requests (including, but not limited, the GRE Pricing comments/ recommendations, overall opportunity snap-shot, detailed analysis by product, lane and weight breaks, etc.)
- Ensure documentation of customer price analysis and reports according to standards
- Where required, support the regional TRB process for any Key Account pricing that is eligible for regional TRB review
- Maintain record keeping of statistics to support KAP process measurement including tracking of number of requests by country,
turn-around-time (TAT), requests outside of agreed SLA, etc.
- Initiate and run continuous improvement initiatives/projects and workshops
2. Create Non-Standard Rate Cards (Custom PIDs) for special rates in GRE
- Create rate cards from scratch as needed and/or PIDs in GRE system based on country pricing teams input
- Where required, interpret overall country requests for price levels and translate these into specific target prices in Custom PIDs
whilst ensuring that guidelines on minimum price levels, discounting, and GPP are followed
- Ensure PIDs are fully GRE compliant
- Included in this is the creation of PIDs for Global Customers from the Global Customers Implementation (GCI) team
- Train new colleagues on the day to day job and perform audits on the work done by other colleagues
- Deactivate outdated customised PIDs
- Maintain non-standard fuel surcharge for Global Customers
- Get involved in GRE deployement to support creation of customised PIDs duringthe rating freeze period
- Support GRE countries for escalation of systems issues
3. GPI for GRE Countries
- Execute Annual GPI for GRE countries
- Execute Off-cycle GPI for GRE countries
4. Support with the collection and/or review of existing or proposed customer rate cards in countries
- Contact countries for gathering existing customer rate cards
- Consolidate customer rate cards, review, validate and convert to global standard format as needed
5. Coordinate work balance among Key Account Pricing Team
- First point of contact for the different stakeholders / business partners
- Manage the audits which have to be done on the work performed by other KAP team members
- Train and coach colleagues in difficult situations and with difficult requests
- Maintain and write work instructions for all processes within KAP team
- Analyze reports and perform quality data cleansing in accordance with policies
- Participate in business meetings
- Ensure good understanding of all relevant systems and processes to be(come) Subject Matter Expert in KAP
- Support testing activities as appropriate
- Review and analyse monthly KPIs
Requirements: - Preferable +2years of experience in related functions, desirable DHL Express experience in an analytical, financial, or Customer Accounting function
- Preferred candidates would have previous experience in Pricing, Costing, Pricing Implementation (GCI), Billing (CMF), Products/Marketing and/or EKAD roles
- Country/Cluster/Regional/Global
- University degree with strong analytical background (eg. Business Administration, Finance, Economics)
