Description The Company My client is a leading player in the Commodity Trading sector, currently looking to recruit a results-oriented professional to oversee full set of Finance and Trade Accounting portfolio.
The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage all aspects of daily accounting operations responsibilities, preparation of intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, trade accounting, inventory tracking, billings, maintenance of fixed assets register, audit and tax activities. You will be involved in initiatives to drive and improve reporting processes, financial controls and corporate governance.
You will ensure compliance to accounting policies and statutory reporting requirements, as well as completion of closing process on timely and accurate basis. You will also liaise closely with external parties such as auditors and tax agent on filing matters, as well as trading partners to ensure timely settlement.
This role will be an individual contributor in managing day-to-day finance operations in the Singapore office.
Your Profile - Degree/ ACCA qualified Finance professional with Commodity Trading industry exposure
- Trade accounting experience required
